Bentry appoints sales head for flagship £100m scheme

Bentry Capital has appointed a sales head for its flagship £100m scheme in Islington, London.

James Oldershaw has joined the firm as sales manager and will lead on sales for the Angel Village development.

He will work alongside appointed agents CBRE and Savills ahead of the scheme’s official sales launch this spring.

James joins from JLL where he led on Ghelamco’s The HiLight scheme in Battersea, closing over £30m of deals last year alone.

At Bentry he will work directly with national director of sales and marketing David Ronson and sales associate Francesca Davies. Both of whom worked with James on The HiLight.

“Angel Village is our first London scheme to come to the market and we want the strongest team in place for our official sales launch this spring,” said David.

“I was instrumental in James’ hiring in his former role and was impressed with his driven, dynamic sales attitude, so I sought him out to complete the sales team we are building at Bentry Capital.”

Angel Village will include 130 homes in a gated community, with 88 as part of phase one. These will have prices starting from £575,000.

James added: “Joining Bentry Capital is a fantastic opportunity, and I am thrilled to be working alongside David Ronson and Francesca Davies again.

“With London experiencing a tumultuous sales market over the last few years, it’s essential to have a sales team that works seamlessly together to help buyers find their dream home.”
